Since not all of you came with prints today (and one did not come at all...)
PRINT YOUR DRAWINGS for yourself this week-end - at required scale - it can be only a part of your drawing, on a A4 for example, in order to test it and see how they come out (high risk of bad surprises if you do not test once).
Post your drawings this week-end if you need advice and comments.
Then you will certainly realize that you have to:
- seriously edit all lines exported from Rhino in Illustrator = erase the object's construction lines that do not correspond with reality, change the line-weight and sometimes type, etc.
- and draw details of construction and junction on the drawing. Scale 1/50 does not allow for imprecision!
- do not forget ground line and fill, selected and meaningful context ....
Optionally, you can show the relation between the different views on your plates, by connecting with construction/connection lines, as you did in 1st year.
In some projects that would make sense and look better.
All of you should be critical about each drawing
- what can this point of view show of your project ?
- which views do you need to have ?
- what other view or type of drawing or document do you need to better explain your project ?
- what is your rendering media ?
DO NOT FORGET TO PRESENT ALL THE PROCESS OF WORKING - THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR PRESENTATION - NOT SO MUCH THE FINAL DOCUMENTS, BUT THE WAY YOU DEVELOPED THE PROJECT, THE QUESTIONS AND EXPLORATIONS YOU WENT THROUGH ETC.
