- I found the novel A thousand dreams of Stellavista by J.G. BALLARD at kinokuniya Paragon, in a huge book compiling all his stories.
Read the story for next Tuesday, and we will start discussing the idea of a building, a construction being affected by its inhabitants.
- Focus now your exploration of the intangible (be it about politics, spirits, ghosts, fantasies, predictions, mythologies, history, dreams, fictions, rituals, common beliefs, etc.) on WATER.
Water as a physical metamorphic element, as a threat for Bangkok, as an accepted condition in the past, as a obscure infinite substance filled with fears and wonders...
- Think of this project as the design of a vessel (not necessarily to contain a body) but to travel; physically, imaginatively, as a remembrance, a sensation or as a projection.
- Finally, consider the location of the proposal, at the very entrance of the University... in the symmetry axis of control.
