All of the students are now having a great confusion in this particular project[the flood]. After all the discussions we are having between our group and the whole class, we would like to ask whether or not, can you please give us a very clear sentences about this issue?
Some questions:
1. What exactly is this workshop about? What is it exactly?
2. Group work? So that means if the person who are at home can also work?
3. Necessary? We all have heard that this flood workshop can replace design experiment during year3 is that true?
4. Is INDA ready to organize this? Does every teacher agree and approve this?
5. Are connections between these 2 project necessary?
This is what I think......
1. Postpone the meaning&memory project[Current studio project] if this workshop is on..I also realize that it is going to be too much to run these 2 projects in the studio session and also take the loads from other subjects such as Structural class, History Class, Tropical Arch class, and also Gen-ed class which means another 2 subjects in different categories depending on each students...
2. We [maybe] can run these 2 things together, but trust me that their quality will be divided 100% for sure...
I think there will be more questions since it is not clear to since the information that we received from each teachers is not on the same path.....
Sorry that I have to be very straight but I, speaking of the whole group and the whole class, are so confuse right now at the moment and we need immediate answer....

Otherwise you mean that we do the design project with flood issue together? If so, it's still be workshop but not as a group? Or we combine each idea later.
I wrote a mail to Aj A to clarify all this confusion, but he has not written to the class yet. So I will do it here for you.
I have done it earlier in this same blog...
1 - For all groups, the project 2 continues and will not be suspended in any way.
2 - There will be no design experimentation workshop organized by inda for the flooding. At least not now. Probably next semester.
For now, on an individual personal initiative, you can join Aj Nilay and Kerrie seminar this Tuesday. There a panel of people already involved in taking action will meet and discuss possible projects to be taken forward.
In addition to that, V from design for disaster offers to meet interested students tomorrow. This will be confirmed soon.
3 - For my group, see previous post about the relation between the project 2 and the current situation.
I am asking you to bridge the 2, but in a different way than providing direct, material help.
We are designers, and before that we are thinkers and here is the occasion to raise a lot of subjects, ideas and imagine other ways to help or to reach people.
Also this will be one way not to disperse yourselves and
your forces. As you said Prompt, working on 2 projects at once is not advisable.
